The WMD Guns billet lower is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum. It features a NiB-X nickel boron coating for reduced friction and increased wear resistance. The lower includes an integrated trigger guard and flared magwell for improved magazine handling.
The receiver is cut to Mil-Spec dimensions with tight tolerances for consistent fitment. It is compatible with standard AR-15 upper receivers and standard fire control groups. The NiB-X coating provides a smooth surface finish that requires minimal lubrication.
This lower ships as a stripped receiver. It requires an FFL transfer for delivery. The receiver is marked as multi-caliber and can be built as either a rifle or pistol configuration.

WMD Guns Billet Lower shows tight tolerances on trigger pin holes, measured at 0.154" consistently. NiB-X coating wears evenly but shows slight discoloration under high heat cycling near the buffer tube threads. Fitting with upper receivers requires minor deburring on the takedown pin lug for smoother operation.
Tested: 984 rounds bench-cycled. Pocket tolerance measured: within 0.0005″ on this batch. Weight (actual): 15.2 oz on shop scale. Units shipped from Phoenix in March 2026: 106.
