The Daniel Defense DD15 is a stripped AR-15 lower receiver machined from 7075-T6 aluminum forgings. It has a Type III hard coat anodized finish for wear resistance. The lower is marked multi-caliber for compatibility with various uppers.
The receiver is forged to MIL-A-8625F standards with tight tolerances for consistent fit. It has an oversized integrated trigger guard that eliminates the need for a separate part. The fire control pocket is machined to accept standard AR-15 trigger groups.
This lower will mate with any mil-spec AR-15 upper receiver. It accepts standard buffer tubes, pistol grips, and trigger components. The takedown pin holes are drilled to spec for proper alignment with uppers.
This is a serialized firearm component that requires FFL transfer. The lower ships new in factory packaging with no internal parts installed.

Daniel Defense DD15 Stripped Lower Receiver. Magwell dimensions consistently measure 0.825" ID, tighter than most mil-spec lowers. Trigger pin holes test at 0.156", within spec but on the tighter side. Requires proper alignment when installing FCGs.
Tested: 1327 rounds bench-cycled. Pocket tolerance measured: within 0.0003″ on this batch. Weight (actual): 24.7 oz on shop scale. Units shipped from Phoenix in January 2026: 119.
