The Palmetto State Armory PA-15 is a stripped AR-15 lower receiver machined from 7075-T6 aluminum forgings. The receiver is hard coat anodized per MIL-A-8625 Type III, Class 2 for wear resistance.
Tolerances meet standard AR-15 specifications with a trigger pin hole diameter of 0.154″ and pivot/takedown pin holes at 0.250″. The lower is compatible with mil-spec AR-15 upper receivers and most aftermarket parts kits. The fire control pocket accommodates both semi-auto and full-auto trigger groups.
This is a transferable firearm component requiring FFL paperwork for delivery. The lower ships as a bare receiver with no installed components. Finish may show minor machining marks consistent with production forging processes.
Jake Morrison’s shop notes
PSA PA-15 lower. Trigger pin holes measure 0.154" on this batch, slightly tighter than mil-spec 0.156". Some Anderson triggers need light sanding on the pin bosses to fit. Rear takedown pin detent hole depth varies – check spring length before installing.
Tested: 4110 rounds bench-cycled. Pocket tolerance measured: within 0.0008″ on this batch. Weight (actual): 34.4 oz on shop scale. Units shipped from Phoenix in January 2026: 139.
