The Mega Arms Maten is a billet AR-15 lower receiver machined from 7075-T6 aluminum. It features a flared magwell for faster reloads and an integrated trigger guard. The lower is prepped for ambidextrous controls with additional machining for selector and magazine release.
The receiver is hardcoat anodized to MIL-A-8625 Type III specifications for wear resistance. Machining tolerances are held to ±0.005″ on critical dimensions. The lower accepts standard AR-15 fire control groups and maintains compatibility with most DPMS-pattern uppers.
This is a serialized firearm component requiring FFL transfer. The lower ships with a threaded bolt catch pin and tensioning screw for upper receiver fitment. No additional finishing or fitting is required for in-spec parts kits.

Mega Arms Maten Billet Lower Receiver (SKU: ARL-BIL-005). Receiver dimensions are consistent with Mil-Spec, but the magwell is slightly tighter than average. Requires extra attention when fitting with some PMAGs—Gen 2 PMAGs sometimes catch on insertion. Machining finish is clean, with no visible tool marks or burrs. Threads for the takedown pins are sharp and precise.
Tested: 2678 rounds bench-cycled. Pocket tolerance measured: within 0.001″ on this batch. Weight (actual): 21.1 oz on shop scale. Units shipped from Phoenix in April 2026: 75.
